The house is located in the middle of the village of Gozd Martuljek, in a quiet street away from the main road. The house offers a stunning view of the picturesque Špik mountain group and stands at the starting point for many excursions into nature, such as the Jerman and Hladnik via ferratas, a hike to the Martuljek Waterfalls or the many nearby peaks. Nearby there is also access to a bicycle path separate from the main road that connects the entire Upper-Sava Valley, so you can cycle to Kranjska Gora, Zelenci, Planica, or even across the Italian border to Laghi di Fusine. In winter, you are close to the Gozd Martuljek sledding track and the ski slopes in Kranjska Gora.
In the immediate vicinity of the house there is a camp with a playground for children, a wellness center and a swimming pool in the hotel behind the camp (where you can pamper yourself in case of bad weather), and a mini market where you will find all the essentials, delicious homemade products from local farms and fresh bread.
